Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Statement

At its heart, Think Being® is: Cultivating the Being in Humankind.

‘Being-ness’ is unique to each of us, and who we will become. Think Being® champions that we need to appreciate ourselves and each other for who we are as ‘beings’. Unconditional Positive Regard is provided for everyone, which in practice means accepting a person – how their brain works and related behaviour, their thoughts and feelings, and their experiences – without judgement.

 

Through Coaching and Consulting, people are validated as whole selves, with inner wisdom and potential. Inclusion, Diversity and Equity are embraced for honouring uniqueness and upholding the freedom to ‘be’ of every human being. It is the right to not be discriminated against.

This approach is based on integrity and respect for the common humanity of all people. We are committed to maintaining a sense of curiosity by being open to new learning, development, and reflection, and to the principles of fairness for all.

Inclusion is first and foremost required for harnessing the enriched impact of Diversity, and it is only through Inclusion that Equity is realised. Otherwise, Diversity and Equity are mere tokens. 

​

Diversity is the recognition of the differences between us. Some of these differences are permanent and some may change and shift over time, as outlined in the Equality Act 2010. Differences include ethnicity, gender, age, national origin, disability, sexual identity, education, neurodiversity, experience, philosophy, political views, socio-economic background, religion, individual thought processes and perspectives, and anything else that may be perceived to differentiate us from one another. It is about what makes us unique.

Inclusion is the practical application of Diversity, especially in a work context. We have a responsibility to value, respect, and support clients and partnerships without prejudice, and to be appreciative of differences.

Neuroinclusion is taking measures to recognise, welcome and accommodate neurodiversity.

In creating Equity, we endeavour to ensure the best outcome meeting tailored needs. This is demonstrable through our culture and actions. Equity is activated by Inclusion. There is no equitableness if people are excluded.

Inclusion, Diversity and Equity are integral to the mindset of Coaching and Consulting at

Think Being®. This deep work is ongoing and intentional for it to become a part of our consciousness.
